I'm a visual artist, and life-long Hamiltonian, who works in two very contrasting mediums: relief printmaking and watercolour painting. I especially enjoy using the medium of linocut printmaking to depict Hamilton’s industrial landscape while my watercolours tend towards lifelike renderings of plants and animals.
My exploration of watercolour painting began in the late-2000s when I wanted to create sweet and vibrant art for my son's baby room in a medium that would be safe for me to use. My love of printmaking started in University when I was smitten by the work of German Expressionist printmakers. After earning a double major honours B.A. in Fine Art and English at McMaster University, where I also completed an M.A in English, I attended Sheridan College and acquired a post-graduate degree in Illustration. My work has been shown in various exhibitions and auctions and is in numerous private collections.
